Undergrad: The University of Mississippi
Attending the University of Mississippi was more than just an academic experience; it was a place where my passions for storytelling, servant leadership, and digital media truly took shape. Though I couldn't have known it at the time, every organization I was involved in helped lay the groundwork for the work I'd go on to do at the White House.

From serving as an orientation leader and coordinator to giving campus tours as a four-year ambassador -- and eventually leading the largest student organization as its director -- I learned the power of collaboration, leadership, and storytelling.

My success as a student led to an incredible opportunity to work with the university's marketing team, where I became the first-ever student selected for the "Leave Your Legacy" campaign. My feature and story was showcased in admissions books given to students, and a postcard version was mailed to every high school junior and senior in the state. Through this experience, I saw how storytelling could be seamlessly woven into marketing; how a compelling narrative could lead to connection and influence a major decision in someone's life.

It was in 2020, during the first-ever completely digital Homecoming campaign, that everything clicked. Running for Homecoming King in the midst of a global pandemic pushed me to embrace the full potential of digital storytelling. That campaign was more than just a personal milestone; it was a crash course in how narratives, visuals, and strategy can break through noise online and make an impact.

Each of these experiences strengthened my ability to lead, create, and connect. These were skills that ultimately paved the way for my time at the White House, where I would take storytelling and digital media marketing to the national level.
